My niece Valerie and her husband host so many wonderful parties throughout the year. Last August was a great example, celebrating both a birthday and Life in general. I used the star filter in my camera to "brighten" the shot.

Ohhh, I like this SO much, Mary.
Your perspective is SUPERB and the whole scene is so appealing: Children playing and having fun around the pool, Dad supervising and Mom bringing cake.
I assume this is a BD-party.
Summer Celebration is a perfect title for this beautiful image. This really is celebrating Summer in the best way.
I also love the lines here illustrating sun rays and a very sunny day.
