May/15, while hiking in the Britton Forest in the Halton Region northwest of Toronto; beautiful red Trillium wildflower, one of only three seen that day among thousands of white Trilliums; f/11, 1/6 sec, EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS, ISO 200, tripod

They are gorgeous. I found some among a mass of bluebells. But the red trilliums were all camera shy, facing "the other" way. And I couldn't walk in the flowers to get a frontal view. Sigh. Funny story about Halton, though. My husband is Jeff Alton. His friend and colleage was Jeff Bilton. And they did a job together in Canada and stayed at a hotel in Halton. So it was: Alton and Bilton at the Halton Hilton! #11298918
