Courtyard Detail

Part of the arcade of the inner courtyard at Ospedale degli Innocenti (one of Florence's orphanages, from the early 1400's). Designed by Filippo Brunelleschi (who later created the Duomo's dome) it is considered a milestone in early Italian Renaissance architecture.
