Or more precisely, lift up. The bascule lift bridge at historic Ashtabula Harbor (Ohio) goes up every half hour during boating season to let the substantial boat traffic on the Ashtabula River pass through on their way to and from Lake Erie. Have a wonderful Monday, everyone!
