Madeira Mountains

Uploaded: November 14, 2005

Description

I am not going to number these as there are around 14 or so which I may have to cut down! This is obviously the first one! I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed being there and taking them! Landscape setting used, along with UV filter and polarizing filter. Height was around 4,500 feet.

Greetings everyone! I have missed you all and although at first it was restful not doing all my submits, I couldn't wait to get back and start again! Thank you for all your kind comments on my drawer series. I have over 150 Madeira images selected as the 'best' ones, which I will have to cut down again. I have sorted them into various categories for series, such as Mountains and Landscapes, Architecture and Streets, Tables and Chairs (!), Windows and balcones, benches, and then misc. I have started with the mountains and hope you don't get bored with them. Any requests for which series comes next, please let me know - I am drowning in them!! I really look forward to seeing your images today. #344273

Many thanks for your comments and indications that I was missed! It is so hard deciding which images to submit in which order! I'd like to be able to do about 10 in one go but of course you can't. I feel I may have to move onto my buildings ones soon - maybe I should just do them randomly each day as I don't want anyone to get bored! #2077188

If this is an indication of what's in store for us then we're in for a wonderful ride and treat, Janet! Welcome back and you have my attention :-)!! Will be showing your shots to my Mom as that's where her side of the family is originally from!
Thanks for sharing and keep them coming!!
Much Aloha,
