Oh my, I love this one Kathy! The lighting is so mysterious and almost sinister. The silhouetted foreground trees are almost unaffected by the camera movement while the colors seem virtually painted with movement---cool combination. I especially like the small light colored tree (perfectly placed!) in the background. This one I would print and hang on the wall! #343274

Thanks, Connie! I hadn't thought sinister, but definitely dark with all those wet big-leaf maple trunks almost black with the low shutter speed. I was attracted to the series of "Vs" created by the black trunks & then those of the negative spaces as well, into which sit the inverted "V" of the yellow ginkgo below. It was definitely cool & come to think of it, would work color-wise in the living room... #2070046

Ghostly painting effect! #2106863

Katherine Kuhn November 22, 2005

Thanks Claudine & Richard. It is kind of dark & ghostly at the same time. A combination of the dark, wet Douglas firs and the camera movement. #2106884
