Trial Bay Gaol.
Uploaded: March 24, 2014
Captured over 10 years ago with my first digital 3Mp camera.
This old gaol has had a chequered career, and during WW2 was host to many German and Italian residents. It is now a tourist attraction and is slowly being restored as finances become available. It is located near South West Rocks, on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.
Taken on an Olympus C730UZ camera, at 1/160th f5.6 and ISO-64.
Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 10/1600 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 64, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 5.90 mm, Model: C730UZ

John, great shot, when I first came to Calgary 49 years ago we went out for a ride and saw a sign "goal" none of us knew what that was so we turned and followed the road, We soon discovered what it was, and turned around lol #11007665Gord MacEachern March 24, 2014

Wonderful composition, pov, and frame-within-a-frame work, John! Fascinating history, too. From a place where people suffered to a "tourist attraction" where people can buy ice cream one day (if they don't already)...how time changes things! #11007967Chris Ebben March 25, 2014
