Port Macquarie Windmill Hill.

Uploaded: February 03, 2014

In 1834 Major Archibald Clunes erected a windmill on this sight to grind wheat and corn for the early settlers. For many years this mill stood as a lonely sentinel on this bare hill, and eventually collapsed in ruins. It was finally burned by a group of boys playing with matches in the early 1900’s.
The area has been converted into park land, and this is the memorial to the past events.
Captured at 6.00 A.M. at 1/50th f16.0 and ISO-640.

Exif: F Number: 16, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 10/500 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 640, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 21.00 mm, Model: NIKON D90
