Surf Session

Description

I snapped this shot as I was leaving the water at L-Town beach in NS. The ocean offers me fun, peace, aggression and fear; I sailed the ocean on the east and west; I saved lives from the ocean; I have various exciting experiences from the ocean, whereas, I fell through the ice, capsized sail boats, got caught in killer sea squalls, drifted on my surf board during winter due to rip currents, caught amazing waves, caught a lot of lobster (legally) , swam great lengths, free dove to deep depths, drank a lot of sea water, feed seals and dolphins, swam with sharks, barracudas and sting rays, explored coral reefs, I shed a lot of blood due to surfing (no regrets), many many times I thought the ocean would not allow me to touch shore again, my foot prints away from the sea remind me to come back; someday I may never leave the sea, that said, salt runs through my veins.
