The kids have gone home and you will be seeing more of me now that things have settled back into "normal" for us. One of the most fun things we did while Allison, Michael and Dave (his partner) were here was to make a trip to the Wolf Sanctuary. I think they liked Michael the best. Dave is a photographer as well, so I think he may have a few images of me! Allison, the doctor, did not warm up to them right away but Lakota managed to give her a nice, sloppy kiss as well. After that she gave in and started receiving more attention. #1557969

Love the pix Debbie and agree with Jeff, that it is an amazing experience. Might have been a bit intense for me, though, 'cause I don't get along well with animals that I don't know. #10936396

That looks so like so much fun!!!!! I love the first one. It makes me wonder what was more picture worthy than what was standing right there! #10936432

Thanks. It was a very fun day. Also stopped at a yak farm on the way home so I have a few pics from that, too!

How is the weather for those of you who are dealing with all that snow?

What a great experience. I would be in 7th heaven being able to get this close to these beautiful animals. I love the adoring look in BFF but all are interesting shots. #10936461

Wow-I agree with Mike-I love the way the wolf is looking up in the last one. I think the last photo is my favorite:) #10937238

What delightful animals Debbie and if I had to chose one shot it would be the last one too. And that would be just for reasons of composition as it is a cleaner, less busy image than the other two. #10937293

I would agree the third one is the best shot, not only because it's my son but who isn't turned around like Allison is and isn't hiding his face behind the camera like Dave even though he is kind of squinting, I would have preferred a cloudy day or earlier in the am but we got the first time as it was.

And Lakota's adoring face seemed like something a trusting dog would come up with -- not a full-blooded wolf. #10937484
