I really like this. You must be taking your light painting to new levels! Who was brave enough to do the fire, and whose hair was burnt? Who is wearing the suit? #1554240

Jeff E Jensen November 28, 2013

Thanks, Beth.

This is Dustin, a recent acquaintance. Dustin has a bunch of old cars that Doug has been using with some model shoots and he's also taking up performing, both sword swallowing and fire performing. We had a lot of fun with this shoot.

Here's another image, one of my favorites from the shoot. #10909008

This is cool you all are friends. I am just wondering everything is shot from behind them, is it easier to get the exposure and effect that way? #10909618

Jeff E Jensen November 29, 2013

Thanks, everyone! This kind of stuff is a lot of fun.

Beth - that is a great question. No, they don't only have to be from behind, I just happened to like these. Here's one more form the front. This is actually a 6-image composite. #10909620

The first one is my favourite. Love that suit. Are you referring to the show Firefly with the title? #10910903

Jeff E Jensen November 30, 2013

Thanks, Lisa. Mostly I was referring to the butterfly shaped wings made of fire. #10911313

Susan Williams November 30, 2013

I like all of them! This looks like another fun shoot, Jeff. I think you should open a brick and mortar Gallery on Main Street. #10911401

Neat stuff! So when you aren't trying to light your fellow Phellos on fire, you are finding people that will do it to themselves voluntarily???

Fun pics-really cool. #10912515

Wonderful shots Jeff. I like them all but I really like how organic the fire looks in the first photo. #10912675

I recently opened my e-mail and found an announcement from Better Photo that the month of November award winners were basking in the glory of finding their name beside their beautiful entry. CONGRATULATIONS!
