Description

This Santa Clara pot modifies the traditional black pottery created by the renowned Maria of the Santa Clara. Jeff Roller, a descendant of Maria, fired and finished this pot in 1997 on the Santa Clara Pueblo of New Mexico.

A Canon EW-73B 28-135 mm lens was selected with the following camera settings: ISO 100, f/9.0, and 1.3 sec.

An attempt to capture the richness of the black in this pot required an exposure modification of -1/3 exposure compensation.

The AF-point expansion in C.FN III-6 was utilized to enhance focus and the f/9.0 provided a good depth of field.

Exif: F Number: 9, Exposure Bias Value: -0.33, ExposureTime: 13/10 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 62.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 7D
