Yikes! As a child, we lived only a few blocks from this place, in a much more modest neighborhood on Park Ave. My brother and I and our cousin used to walk there quite often. But in truth, I don't remember the wisteria at all. Sigh. I'm sure I had no appreciation of landscapes at the age of 9. That said, this is so beautiful, like an oil painting. There were probably big fat bumble bees enjoying the blossoms too. Wisterias have what I would describe as a pungent perfume, that has the tendency to make my stomach turn. Another sigh. #10896901

We see a lot of this beautiful flower here in Alabama and I love the bunch look. In control they are a gorgeous addition to any garden, left unattended, they will overtake everything almost overnight. Here the make for one beautiful picture Marilyn. #10898002
