House of God

Taken of the Salt Lake City Temple in Utah- The long laborious process for the 170 room temple began in 1853 and took 40 years to complete. The walls are 9 feet thick at the base and 6 feet at the top. Each granite block weighs between 2,500 and 5,600 lbs and was hauled by oxen from a quarry in Little Cottonwood Canyon 20 miles away. A must see if you come to SLC< Utah.
