What a gorgeous shot! Everything here works very well for me. The colors, the comp an amazing sun burst and the recognizable gulls flying through the shot. I am adding this one to my favorites. #1551337

I wholeheartedly agree with Mike and Dale. Beautiful shot, well-composed, wonderful lighting, beautiful colors and strong drama in the sky. The texture of the sand and the motion of the waves really make it stellar. #10891299

I love pictures like this with the sun's rays coming from behind a cloud! The colors are beautiful and I like the birds also-adds some life to the beach! Beautiful!

Looks a little chilly to me-was this in the Carolinas? #10896283

I agree, gorgeous shot. The sand does look really chilly; maybe crop some of it? #10896629

Beth Spencer November 13, 2013

Thanks Stephen, Debbie, Elaine and Lisa. Elaine it was not really chilly, sweatshirt weather, this was the Outer Banks, NC in September.
Lisa I did a crop for you.
We are back from Texas and the visit with the grandbaby, time to work on some other pictures and catch up! #10898100
