Before Flash - Distance

Uploaded: October 27, 2013

Description

I checked the distance of my in-camera flash unit and it changes with the ISO. I had a little trouble with this assignment because the flash had an effect on just about anything I photographed. I finally just settled on this. The owl is behind glass in a dark area. I was still able to get a decent shot without any flash even though it's underexposed. I still can't give an exact distance for the flash except I can estimate how far it will stretch depending on the ISO and aperture. I think that's a good thing.

Exif: F Number: 4, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/30 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 800, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 55.00 mm, Model: NIKON D5100
