Finish Line

Uploaded: October 24, 2013

Today’s photo is a first-timer from my archives and captures a fine February sunrise from a virgin beach by Battle Rock… looking toward Humbug Mountain. In the foreground a creek traverses the beach to rejoin the mother-ship. The colors were changing rapidly during this sunrise, from deep pinks to rosy reds to peach to coppery bronze. The progression would make a nice series of photos for a slide presentation.
