"Etched Memories"

Uploaded: September 19, 2013

Description

Our son, Tom, always loved sports and put many miles and wear and tear on his equipment. He kept most of it and now the memory he made when we watched him play is etched in our minds but much of his equipment and keepsakes are displayed in his memory boxes, where we can see them
anytime. Every time I turn the pages of one of his books or touch something he treasured, such as his football helmet, I am again thankful that he chose to keep these things as they bring back such precious memories. It is never easy to lose a child, but just like the many scratches on his prized helmet, there are thousands of etched memories in our hearts.
