I think it's a fine image, Candy. The frosted edges give it a 3D feel. The color is nicely saturated and everything is very sharp. #3414699

My very first impression was twofold: ''excellent composition'' and ''it looks slightly artifical''. For the composition: Most excellent usage of lines, leading into the center of composition and along the picture diagonal. It directly gives the viewer that desired amount of optical impact. And then for the artificial look: In my opinion that could be due to the 'wrong' color of the frost. If it's real frost (not added by digitally editing the image), I assume you took the picture in the shade on a cold, sunny, blue sky day? Try changing the color balance so that the frost becomes more white than it is now, this may destory some of the very nice blue-yellow complementary color contrast, but could make it look more natural. Also, the fact that you cannot really see the crystals, although the frosty edges are quite broad, could be a reason for imperfection. Did you use any edge-enhancing effects? If yes, those could have made the image look too artificial. These are just some thoughts... hope I could help. #3415712

Well, it is an excellent shot. The sharpness and composition are very good. I am going to guess this was taken in the shade because the frost is blue. THis may be what you wanted and made this way. If not I also suggest changing color balance. It is still beautiful this way, so it just doesn't really matter unless you want true colors. THat is what is fun about photography. We get use our imagination and if we have them, our artistic skills. Great job. Thanks...
