Ethereal

Description

Playing with impressionism in Camera Raw, no Photoshop or plugin filters used ...
My usual inclination is to increase clarity in Camera Raw, but this time, by decreasing clarity instead,
this rose took on a lovely ethereal glow. I also increased exposure and tweaked the color just a bit.
I liked how the blurred features of the room in the background created vague quadrants of "silver" and "gold",
almost like a painted background (at least that's how I see it ☺ ).

Exif: F Number: 2.8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.67, ExposureTime: 1/13 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 200, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 100.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS REBEL T2i
