Blue Plumbago

Description

This is one of the few plants blooming in my yard. There are about 10-12 species of Plumbago and this is likely either Blue Cape or Hardy Blue Plumbago. Shot with the Canon Powershot SX50 HS handheld at 692mm, ISO 250, F/7.1 and 1/320 sec. Comments welcome.

First of all Emile, I love the lighting because it just brightens the whole picture. Added to that is that black background. The flowers themselves stand out and I have come to really love the blue color for a flower. The flowers are simple in looks when standing alone, but as they form the cluster the beauty of the whole is anything but simple. Gorgeous look my friend. #10799687
