This is just beautiful. I love everything about this-especially the diagonal line created by the falling water. The green moss is perfect in framing the falls.

This is one of my favorite places around here and this is the first time this year I have made it there.
Thank you, I have to get to some of the other pictures and post them. Super Storm Sandy took out so many trees, the next falls down has downed trees all around it, unbelievable all the damage. #10790045

Thanks, Elaine, Dale and Kristin. Kristin I did use my variable neutral density filter on this. I think it was 2 or 3 stops, the thing works great on these shots!

I remember now the suggestion I was going to make. My problem in taking these pictures is that I seldom get can get them where the fallen trees don't destroy the leading lines or become distracting elements. You've done really well on that score here, Beth.

However, I think you could do a little cloning cleanup on the branches sticking down across the face of the mossy rocks, particularly the two larger ones in the center. #10790730

Beth this is outstanding, its beautiful I love the water looking like sugar but we know Peter would not...LOL If I would address anything I would lessen the highlights in the area the stephen is talking about. I don't find them a distraction. #10791817

These falls go all the way down the canyon and there are several of them. I wanted to post pictures of the next set down, one before Superstorm Sandy and one I took the other day, just an idea of how powerful a storm it was. #10794098

Beautiful capture of these falls! It feels so wet and lush! And that pop of green is terrific.
I can't tell in the edit if you did some rotation? It seems the falls "verticals" (columns of water) are leaning in the edit? But I think I like the cloned-out branches just slightly better than leaving it natural. #10795786
