Mike the Chihuahua

Uploaded: October 31, 2005

Description

This was taken at with a 50mm 1.8 Nikon lens f8 @ 1/250, handheld, using a Nikon SB-800 flash in a small softbox connected via cord to the camera - the master flash. A second flash, a slave, an SB-600, was set to the right in a softbox and slightly behind the dog to further define the fur along the edge. A second SB-600 with a red gel was clipped to the table, shooting onto the black velvet blanket taped to the wall behind.

Mike was very uncooperative, but her ears perkep up when we put Frank Sinatra on the CD player - "click!" :)
