Chinook Salmon

Uploaded: July 15, 2013

Description

Shot at the fish ladder at the Chittenden locks in Seattle. The ladder was built to allow salmon to pass between fresh and salt water, and to navigate the locks. Glass panels below the water line make it possible to watch the fish as they swim through the ladder. These salmon were illuminated from the natural light from above. Shot at 5000 ISO at 1/500th. Converted to BW in Perfect B&W.
