I like this and wonder about one thing could you use liquify and just push her fat pad under her chin up just a little the light in that area highlights it and most people don't like that part of their body highlighted. #10765689

Yes, Tom, I see that. Probably from the front of her dress. I'll correct that at the same time I do Memoriee's suggestion.

Memoriee, I usually do that for portraits but this one is of an eight year old young girl and I didn't give it much notice.

I like the b&w the best Dale. The lighting is very nice. One thing, the bg has some strange lines in it when I stand up and look down my monitor at it and I am not sure if it was intentional or not. Maybe you can smooth it out somehow? JMT. #10765725

Sherran, I can't see those on my monitor but suspect they may be from the softbox. Can you mark them somehow on a screen grab and post it, or describe them in detail? I'll see what I can do to correct it when I can determine where they are.

Sorry... just got home. Soft box... it might be... I don't know how to do a screen shot but I will try and describe it... I can only see it if I stand up and lean over towards my monitor and look down on the image... if you divide the photo into 3, the first part being the left side of the photo, the middle being where it starts to get lighter and ends with her nose/face starting and the third section is her hair... it is in the left side... it is much darker there and it looks like there are folds (like in fabric) or something. Maybe it is just my monitor I don't know. Could you extend the middle blank section to the left side? Does that make sense? #10766517
