Description

The smallest of the North American Herons... Very difficult to get out into the open! On this day it took 4 hours to get the shot! 300mm F4L IS Lens, after 10+ years it never lets me down!

A very fine wildlife capture, Derek - I have read about how hard it is to get a shot of these guys. I love the way he's in the reeds but his head is clearly visible. Excellent job. #1534703
