Description

Crazy, scary, cool lightning out my back door a couple weeks ago. I had never photographed lightning before so was really excited to get this shot. Started with the lightning trigger then went to manual release as the storms moved further away. F8 at 5 seconds ISO 100

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 5/1 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 14.00 mm, Model: NIKON D800

Wow! Amazing shot of the lightning! I love storms, and have been playing with getting lightning shots myself. I love how you captured this as it forked across the sky. Beautiful capture!
