**"S" CURVES**

This was one of my favorites from Chicago this time. I don't find "S" curves very often in my images. This one was taken in the Contemporary Museum of Modern Art. Didn't like much of the art exhibited but was impressed with it's architecture. More fun than the inside was the Tuesday Farmer's Market on the grounds outside in front of the museum. #1532304Susan Williams June 14, 2013 0
I love this image, Debbie! The composition and handling of light is amazing. Beautiful work! #10732619Elaine Hessler June 14, 2013 0
Agreed! I like how you left the circular skylight/light in the upper right. This is a really neat staircase-the symmetry is really nice and the lights add even more interest. I don't see anything to correct! #10733033Stephen Shoff June 15, 2013 0
I like architecture pictures. This one has really unusual geometry to it. Well captured, Debbie. #10733239

All the people who were under pre-evacuation have been able to go home. The fire went from 5% containment to 35% over night. We have had a bit of rain but not nearly enough. Every day the count goes up on destroyed homes. It is over 500 by now. Friends of mine are evacuated but I have only heard of one couple we know whose house is gone. Martin cancelled his business trip for this upcoming week in case the wind changes. So we are only out the cost of an airplane ticket. #10734345Kalena Randall June 16, 2013 0
Great shot, Debbie! THe geometric shapes in photos can be hard to get sometimes, but this is awesome! #10735148Susan Williams June 17, 2013 0

Thank you, all. And thank you, Judges for your input as well. This was the by far thebest work of art in the Museum and there were a lot of contenders but I kept coming back to this staircase!! #10828018Debbie E. Payne September 01, 2013 0
