Out of Tape

Uploaded: June 11, 2013

Description

Another series of photos I have been meaning to add to my photo portfolio are those of cross-polarization. In this example of cross-polarization there are actually two plastic tape dispensers, both of which are “out of tape”. One on the bottom is lying flat on top of a laptop monitor (which, due to anti-glare technology produces polarized light), and the other one is upright on top of it. The images were then captured with a 72mm polarizing filter on my 150mm-macro lens attached to a DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera set at ISO 800 and f/16. The final image was post-processed in Adobe Lightroom. Entered into the “Contrast” (Monthly Theme for June 2013) category.

GPS: Approximate location, latitude 47° 26' 15.77" N, longitude 120° 20' 30.04" W.

Keywords: Cross-Polarization, and USA.

Exif: F Number: 16, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 16/10 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 800, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 150.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark II
