~ SQUARE TOWER HOUSE ~

Uploaded: May 29, 2013

Description

The famed four story tower in this 13th century Anasazi ruin was originally just the back part of a pueblo that stepped up to meet its fourth floor. Most of the front portion of the pueblo collapsed long ago, leaving the rear to tower majestically over the remaining ruins. Constructed in the mid 1200s, Square Tower House was the tallest man-made structure in the United States of America until mid 1800s.
