Description

the veil
covering up
modesty, respect,
i watched her in the bus for many minutes
traffic stops dead sometimes for an hour in DHAKA.
she clung so firmly and closely to her veil, not noticing me with my zoom.
i cant help but think aside from the cultural spiritual aspect of covering up
there must be a link to the treatment men have towards the female in this side of the world which
is many a time COVERED UP.
The recent rapes in Delhi and other parts of INDIA in the media are not recent phenomena. Woman are rarely seen in the streets of DHAKA.
and if so they are invisible. Men dominate the society. Men also create wars and are responsible for most of the problems in the world. Men fill 95 percent of the prisons in the world.
Most of the time women are wrongly convicted as participants in a MANS crime.

makes you think doesnt it? Who should be covered up.
