Description

This Wisconsin mill was built in 1868 by Jerome Nelson upon his return from serving in the Civil War. The mill was operated as a business until 1984. In 1988, the DNR bought the mill and removed the spillway to return part of the river to a trout stream. The building was sold to the historical society and is used for art shows and concerts.
