I hate that my 50-d with the zoom is broken. Should of seen me trying to sneak up on this snowy egret with my g-9! He posed awhile for me though,what a nice bird!! :)Taken at the Las Vegas Wetlands. He was sitting on the rail at the new visitor center that will open this spring.

Dear Photo Friend: I feel that something has changed at Better Photo but cannot tell you just what has happened. I have been here since 2003 and most every month I have written to all the winners telling them how their work touches me. I have witnessed photographs that bring tears to my eyes and colors that are unbelievable, now I am worried that like all good things that it will not be here the next time I look.
But the feeling of not being able to congratulate all the winners for the hard work, and sharing their talent with all of us makes me so sad.
