Skógafoss

Uploaded: February 05, 2013

Description

Skógafoss makes for an impressive display from the highway, rising 200 feet with an 82 foot width.
Iceland's ubiquitous clusters of 3 sheep can be found here as well; one group appears on the slope
above the falls, one group near left edge center. B/W conversion to build on the poor weather that day.

It has an Ansel Adams feel to it--a little out of his realm geographically, but the beautiful contrasty b&w is reminiscent. #10554732

Dear Photo Friend: I feel that something has changed at Better Photo but cannot tell you just what has happened. I have been here since 2003 and most every month I have written to all the winners telling them how their work touches me. I have witnessed photographs that bring tears to my eyes and colors that are unbelievable, now I am worried that like all good things that it will not be here the next time I look.
But the feeling of not being able to congratulate all the winners for the hard work, and sharing their talent with all of us makes me so sad.
However it turns out and even if this is the last time I have this privilege, to let you know how exceptional your work has been, please know that I will never forget.
CONGRATULATIONS to all of you for the month of March, 2013, I send my very best to you always, Merna Nobile
