Sea Lion

Uploaded: February 02, 2013

Description

The Sea Lion, a replica of a late 16th century British three-masted sailing ship, was built somewhere around 1985 and sold to the Buffalo Maritime Society. According to reports, while in Buffalo, she sank in Lake Erie in 1999 and the remains were raised by divers a couple of years later. Now, what's left of her is beached at the Barcelona Harbor near Westfield, New York, where hope continues that funds can be found to restore her beyond the occasional repainting job. Snowing here - have a wonderful Saturday, everyone!
