A lovely summer but not so sunny day...

Taken this morning, when rollerskating around my favourite place, Lais de Guia, in Matosinhos, (Porto), Portugal. Added a different texture on Photo Editor

Thank you so much, Brinn!Carol Engstrom May 26, 2019
This is a nice phot, Gaby, and the texture finishes it off nicely. #128316Gabriela Cunha May 26, 2019
so glad you liked it, Carol! thank you...Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019
Talk about a long shot :0) Nice pano, Gaby. I bet it would be gould without the texture also. Nice effect though. #128351Dave R. Mikkelson May 26, 2019
Not so sunny, but still very very nice. I enjoy your panos so keep them coming. How you get so many nice shots in what seems to be a small town amazes me. I seriously have to think about a trip soon. Getting to that point where I need a week or two away anyways. It is a lovely place and if even half the people are as nice as you and Su seem to be then that would just be icing on the cake.Evy Johansen May 26, 2019
Wonderful image - great work, Gaby! #128595Susana Matos May 26, 2019

Very original and eye catching photo! Great work, Gaby. #129069Carol Brill May 26, 2019
I can feel the cool breeze and smell the ocean from here, wish I was there because it's 107 here! Just lovely, admire your courage (and success!) in experimenting. #129155Gabriela Cunha May 26, 2019
Vicki: thank you! you're right, in the North of Portugal the North wind sometimes blows a lot. When it comes from the South, it means bad weather, including rain, so we always prefer the one which was blowing that day I took the photo (N).Murry: really glad you liked it! I like the original pano without the texture too, but somehow prefered this one. I'm not going to upload the original one in here so that you won't have too much of gaby's panos :) tks for the info on buzz!
Dave: thank you for the compliment! Portugal is a small country (+- 600 Kms per +- 200 Kms) with 10 million inhabitants. Normally when one comes to Portugal one gets to know the Algarve (South province, near Africa), with a mediterranean, very warm influence (air and water), which is good, but that's not real portuguese Portugal (though of course many of us go there too). Unfortunately many people don't get to see the North (and centre, where you find Lisbon, the capital) which Su and I have been showing in our photos.
In July / August it could be too warm (around 35 / 40ºC), in September it is normally nicer already (not so many people, not so many tourists). People in general are nice and DO speak english (english is the second language we learn at school, 3rd will be french, and then german. spanish comes in the end.
Evy: thank You!
Su: muito obrigada pela força e por me teres mostrado este site! quanto ao ser uma foto vencedora, es uma querida :)
Oksana: thank you SO much!
Carol: it's good when we can pass on to others the great feelings we have when we not only live life, but also praise it and thank for it.

I really like this, the colors are wonderful along with your composition. The texture you used works very well here. #132485Gabriela Cunha July 08, 2003
