Wow! This moves me because this is precisely the way my grandfather was mortally wounded back in 1936. He must have touched a nerve while attending to his horse's hoof and the horse's reaction was fatal for my grandfather (who was a traveling (with horse-drawn cart) junk dealer.

But this is a beautiful photo and THIS horse looks almost grateful. #1510372
