Description

Poor old Denim passed away today, she was 18. Her sister, Calico (also in my gallery)passed away 4 years ago last month. Denim & Calico were born in the bottom of the ice-machine we had in our Seafood shop when we were on holidays, luckily it was going!! Also lucky we found them before turning it on.

Am sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my dog almost a year ago and it still hurts. Animals bring out the best in people , in my home they are family and always will be. You will always have memories of her and her sister. By the sounds of things they were both lucky to have found you. #1502126

Awww this is sad news, Chris.
Yes, all of us animal lovers know what it's like to lose a loved pet.
18 years, I believe, is quite old for a cat. Denim must have had a good life then to want to live so long.
They are such a joy in our lives and leave such empty spaces when they're gone.

So So sorry for your loss of Denim Chris. At least she gave you 18 great years. I lost one of my office cat, Tamieka 2 years ago and still miss her. Her ashes and photos remain in my office. I lost my dog Brandy last year and have not gotten over that yet either. Our pets are like our children. I now have 19 cats (two indoor office cats and one outside office cat) the others are at my home. I know that Denim is frolicking over the rainbow bridge with Tamieka and they are having fun. #10465557

I'm so sorry. :( xo You know, Dale and I have realized that this is the downside to having kitties and pets that are around the same ages. Lucky was 18 yrs old and Pookey 17. Fangy is 15 with diabetes so he will not reach the ages they did, so says our VET.

I am so glad you still have Tuxedo. Time to pamper your little sweetie because all of you are in your own kinds of mourning. xoxo
