Just another day at the Beach!

Uploaded: October 19, 2012

Description

This shot is from the Island of St. Maarten. The terminus of the airstrip and the beginning of the beach are difficult to tell. This is a very famous spot for tourists because of the low landing aircraft. During take-off, the jets will literally blow people of the beach!
Shot midday at ISO 100, f8 and 1/500 shutter speed.

Exif: F Number: 5, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/500 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 18.00 mm, Model: NIKON D90
