Sacred Pool
Uploaded: October 17, 2012
... I just called it that because the ceiling reminded me of a church.
This is an image of the Hotel Pool taken through the glass window when it was closed.
Happy Wednesday everyone!!!!! :)

Bobby, Patrick, JudyAnn, John, Kitty, David, Anthony & Tammy ~ Thank you so much for your fabulous input on this image! It really was a unique pool! I thought it was strange though because it was on the main floor near the lobby! First time I had ever seen that! :)David ~ My girlfriend got a deal on this hotel for 4 of us ... It was only $65. per night for each person! :)
Anthony ~ Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to go in this nice pool! We spent most of our time shopping & eating! :) #10375846

So beautiful Lorna. In my trips to Europe I found that in the early days they would have cisterns just like this that are used for baptisms and sacred rituals. With the stained glass window above, this certainly has a sacred feel to it. Very nicely presented Lorna. #10376904Lorna Shutter October 27, 2012
Thanks, Reynaldo! Unfortunately this pool wasn't in Europe ... Pennsylvania was as far as I got! Perhaps someday ... :) #10386938Laura E. Swan October 28, 2012
Ya know, this WOULD make a great place for Baptisms!! I'd have loved to sit and relax by the pool with you there, Sis. I wish Wm would get that time machine of his working right. I'd be there in a flash. :DWelcome home. I'm glad to be home too. I was gone 17 days on the California road trip.
