Description

9/21/12, MT education. This is a reworked scan of an old shot from a trip on the Amazon River in Peru. These young kids followed us everywhere when we stopped in their village and wanted to show us their schoolroom. We only saw young kids- the guide told us that because the villages were so poor, most kids left when they were teens to try to escape this life, only to live as beggars in the streets in the bigger cities such as Rio.
