Not sure what to make of this one Pete..I think the colors are cool and the comp works for me but the focus seems extremely soft. Is this a cell phone shot for the challenge or are you playing around with some sort of filters... #1479809

Hi Tony. This was the peach that I tried not very successfuly to use in the last 'collision of the planets' image. Here I am using the same image as an abstract and is not intended to be sharp or for that matter even be likelike. The peach provided the colors; PSE9 the 'layer style' which gave me the halo and shadows and anything else is in the eyes of the beholder. I am climbing outside of my box again Tony. :0) #10271001

Gorgeous colors Peter. This too is an interesting foray into the abstract world.

Since this reminds me of a sun, if you were to shoot one like this again I would suggest you get a straight on shot to avoid any shadows as a sun would not have them, but it does make for an interesting shot as presented though I still think your earlier efforts are going to be hard to beat. #10271767

Yup, great colors, and a unique image. I've really enjoyed seeing what you are coming you with.

You should combine some of this stuff with some of your England shots. . . #10272190

Hi Peter, I really like this; the colours are beautiful and the comp is very nice. Since it's intended as an abstract, I think changing the title might be helpful (when I saw it called 'peach' I expected a sharper image blown up) #10272259

I really like the colors and the composition on this one. You are getting really fancy! #10272291

Am glad thar you tried this, Peter. I really like it's color and vibrancy. Was I gone when you told us how to do this? Not that I can even get down to the kitchen except on rare occasions to even find a frying pan. #10273228

Thanks friends, I would have re-shot this one with just the abstract in mind but I had already eaten it. :0) It was the colors that attracted me and this should be an object lesson for me in that because I forgot to save the original full resolution file I had not much to work with. Blame it on watching the Olympics; multi-tasking is not my strength! #10273258
