Originally saved as SF (Strange Flower) as I had no idea what it was when I was given it by Mary (thank you Mary) and when I photographed it yesterday evening. Have some close ups to follow which show its incredible design. I have been told now that it is Celosia argentea var. cristata. (Sounds good) - in English - Cock's comb. From Indonesia and grown in other warm countries. Its name in other languages: christangayo, tonenchuko, chesechil a malk, mamoe, cresta de gallo, and repe moa. Hope you enjoy.
