Description

Took this shot same days as my other one titled "Cold Fire". The day was sooo cold I and I was shooting into the wind..Tears were frozen to my face and I could hardly make it back to the car...If I remember right it was -42 with the windchill right off the water in my face...Thanks for looking!!!

I admire anyone who gets out in frigid weather to shoot a photo. I am quite the whimp when it comes to the cold. This paid off..great sky and exposure. ~Kim:) #40372

Nice image, Terry. I too applaud your determination. I'm surprised the camera would function properly at that temperature or were you using a non-electronic camera? #119080

Hey thanks for your comments..No it was the Sony F-707 digital camera..I had it under my jacket and shirt keeping it close to my skin to keep it warm...the bats died real fast that day though... #119083

Great photo and a superb location for pictures. I'm not as brave and chose to take my picture of Peggy's Cove in the warmth of summer. Hope you enjoy it.
