Hey's things? :) Thank you...something REALLY different for me..I used my new tripod and used very long exposures (I'm usually to impatient and spontaneous to use a tripod!) but I love the low light and long exposures...something new to explore! I'm so flattered you like it...thanks again! ;>) #119050

Juliane Morris-Lusk May 26, 2019

Very, very nice! I love it! It gives a great perspective of speed...Really great Debbie! #119070

Debbie S. May 26, 2019

Thanks so much Juliane...she really does look speedy here doesn't she? I noticed after processing that there is one key that is depressed, and no finger pressing it down...kind of ghost-like... ;>) #119112

Patricia Marroquin May 26, 2019

Debbie, the first thing I noticed was the key down with no finger on it, it is my favorite part of the photo! I love the angle you shot it and the natural light on the key board. I might resubmit it in the general area though, I think it would have a better chance in the contest. But then again I am always wrong. LOL #119276

Shirley L. Carpenter May 26, 2019

This is great Debbie.....I Love the blur of hands on the keys......Excellent... #119303

Debbie S. May 26, 2019

Thanks Peggy...the tripod is a new thing for me, but It was worth the hassle to get the interesting blur and that note...isn't that cool? Regarding the's a person...I use general for manipulated images, but I could be wrong.

Thank you Shirley, you are, as always, so supportive... ;>) #119374

Debbie, this is wonderfully composed. Like the motion and it appears from the position of the hands that the person has studied and/or is very good. Mom's family business, piano repair and supplies and I used to recover keys and make bass strings part time with my dad! Ahh memories. Congrats on your finalist selection and good luck in the finals. Debbie S. July 10, 2003

Thank you Rob! Wow...sounds like you've got some piano experiance far as my little model's experience...just between you and me, let's just say that the photo is very flattering to her ability level! She's a solid intermediate player, but the slow shutter and blur makes her fingers look a bit speedier than they really course she thought it very accurately depicted her ability, which totally made her day and made the hassle of dealing with the tripod SO worth it! ;>)) #139060
