Nice action shot, Denny, but I'm not sure it proves she was out. I doesn't look good for the runner but the tag hasn't been applied yet. The ump probably thought you just cloned home plate further away :0) #40388

Thanks for the compliments, and you're really right. This shot doesn't prove she was safe - my 2nd baseman was just going in for the tag. She held onto the ball, and truly did get her out by about 1 foot, but the ump never actually saw this pic. No 'instant replay' in girls competitive softball! #119444
