Blue Vervain

Uploaded: July 13, 2012

Description

This photo was taken at the Black Hawk Wild Life Preserve. Normally this area is under a couple of feet of water. The grasses and wildflowers have flourished this year due to lack of rain the last two years. I captured this shot of blue vervain as the first light of day fell upon it. The lifting ground fog added a little intrigue to the morning outing.
