We rescued this nest of 4 babies from under our boat. It had been built under the engine platform. After finding it, we attempted to put it back in the general vicinity of where the boat had been originally parked for the winter, but the parents did not return. So my husband and I called a good friend who owns a critter service, and she helped us get them to a bird sanctuary here in New Hampshire where they will be cared for and released safely back into the wild when they are old enough.
