Reflective Lantern

Uploaded: June 14, 2003

Description

I visited Historic Cottonwood House and Barkerville today. This photo was taken at Cottonwood House, an 1800's Roadhouse. I photographed the lantern from outside, through the aged panes of glass. I liked the effect and reflections.

Super closeup, Cathy. I can see the ghost of old Billy Barker in the glass.

Thank you, Rick, Kathleen, Lorraine, Shirley and Murry!

I liked the "ghostly" quality to this photo, which seemed so fitting for the setting, making me wonder about the people who used live there so many years ago.
