This is beautiful Kristin. I has almost a magical quality to it - like you would expect magical woodland creatures to come into sigh momentarily. I think it is a combination of the wonderful colors narrow DOF and extremely sharp and detailed subject along with a very nice BG. The blossom and leaf in the lower portion of the shot almost look like reflections.

I like it a lot as presented and see nothing that a change would improve. #1464772

Hmmm....though I had already responded to this.

I like it too. It falls into the "how did you do that?" category to me. I really like the color and tonality qualities in this. #10147956

Lovely colors Kristin. I really like the softness you've added to the image. It fits very well and is appealing in every way. #10147989

I love the softness of this image. The colors are wonderful as well. :) #10148561

Aimee C. Eisaman May 24, 2012

Lovely colors and I agree with the others the softness is just right for something like this. :~) I have some issues with the blur though because it doesn't hit some of the leaves next to the flower, but it hits petals in the same vacinity. #10148628

I love the soft colors and focus! I agree with Aimee on the issue she pointed out. #10148878

I am no flower-mage enthusiast so wouldn't normally say much more than 'nice colors'but just for once I understand what some of the others have referred to re the blurring being somewhat odd yet it is not unanimous.
But, hey! Nice colors Kristen! #10154276

I thought I had commented earlier, sorry. I like it and the colors are very nice. #10154508

Ever so lovely. The softness is just delightful as is the colors. But, I see that bit of blur, too. #10156286

I agree with the others on beautiful colors and softness, but also tend to be see that blur, too. #10157826

Ditto on what everyone has said. I think I might have done something like this with a square crop. I love how your softness fades to the bottom of the shot. The. Lur doesn't really bother me. #10161361
